Its been over a month since my last blog, the year 2018 was to start of with bad news about one of my closest friends. This lady ment the world to me and pretty much every other person she came into contact with.
In the nine years I knew her, she was someone I could talk with, she fed me at times, cut my hair and was just great fun to work with. She was amazing in her local community, working on so many projects to help them out. She had a natural vigour for life which showed in everything she put her hand too.
I could keep on writing about what a wonderful woman she was but I'm not too sure how long a blog can be before it doesn't allow you to type any more.
The week after we learned she was suffering from cancer, we went to the funeral off her father. I had never been to a chapel funeral before but little did I know at that time, that I would be in the same chapel two weeks later for her own funeral.
In the 58 years she was here she had done some amazing things and was only getting started. I'l not go into everything as it would be up to her family to tell the world all her stories.
All I know is that the pain I felt after getting the phone call to say she passed away was just a fraction of the hurt her family felt and are still feeling. She will be sorely missed but her memory will never be diminished, we just have to think back to all the stories we have of her.
Friday was a hard day at her funeral but the turn out she received is testament to how amazing she was. I will always miss her but she lives in us all and I can still hear her laugh and see her face. God rest our B.
