Spending this sunny day with the main man. We spent the morning walking round town having a coffee in my Klean kanteen while doing so.

Home now and playing toys on the playroom floor. It's been a good Thursday so far, hopefully The Arsenal will help complete a fantastic day by winning later in the Europa League cup semi final.

No blog posts the last few days as I have been enjoying the good weather that has finally came to Northern Ireland. 

I managed to get out into the garden to give it a first grass cut of the year as well as getting other bits tidied up. I got some of the fruit trees and bushes planted that came with us on our house move last year.

Also yesterday we learned that Arsene Wenger is stepping down from Arsenal manager. He has been a great servant to the club and has overseen many changes at the club. AW has been there my complete adult life. From leaving High School, through college and heading of to University. He has been in charge when I was away from home and when I came back to Northern Ireland. Through finding my beautiful wife, getting our first and second homes, marriage and a baby boy. It's going to be strange seeing someone new in charge of my beloved Arsenal.

Coffee Break sketch......When you talk

What a day it has been so far. Up and out of the house before 7am to get to the local Disney store to queue up for this months Mickey mouse memories collection. Thankfully I was 13th in line and got one. The stress levels are getting higher with each month I manage to get one. I'd like to get the whole collection for Finley especially now I've tried so hard to get the first four.

In work it's quite de-stressful after this morning. So a little bit of the Dalai Lama to get us through the rest of the day.

I have been on Pinterest a lot recently trying to find ideas for the new house and have seen quite a few Einstein quotes.

There is a time in life when you do realise that the true worth of life isn't the material things that you gather along the way but what you can bring to future generations. I want my son to look at me and want to grow up to be like me, I still have a lot of learning to get to that ideal but with time I hope I am the dad that he says me as.

It's Saturday 14th April and it's Grand National day! The England ladies have just won an epic semi final match against the Jamicians in the netball at the Commonwealth Games and I have to head into work for a few hours.

It's been a bit of a mixes bag so far. Slept in after Finley keeping us up moat of the night but the drive into work was super quick and made it in before time.

It's Saturday morning and I have had to leave a cosy fire, coffee and a sleeping wife and child to go into work for a few hrs.

Wet Friday in Northern Ireland......

I can't believe it is the 6th April and I had to spend the morning cutting wood for the fires to heat the rooms in the house. It doesn't help that we ran out of oil yesterday and they can't get to us till Monday.

Especially after yesterday was so nice. Finley and me spend the day in town and the afternoon at the Folk Park that I have spoken about before.

And this afternoon, I have been getting another room completely decorated. I'm looking forward to getting photos up from the house, once it's all done.

It's really enjoyable to see where all the blog visits come from. Most come from USA, UK, Germany and Brazil with a small few from Ireland, France, Italy, Peru. I wonder where else will see my little ol' blog.

So the hair has gone, but the temperature is still freezing. It's amazing how cold it is around the back of the head without the insulation of hair.

Coffee Break sketch......Iced Coffee

I have long learned over the last 22 months that if I want a hot/warm mug off my favourite brew, that Finley either needs to be asleep or have an animation on the television to catch the chance. 

Failing these options, it is having a few sips of perfection before setting it down and remembering that I made a coffee and where was it that I set it down.

Yesterday was the big birthday celebrations of finishing putting down the flooring in the last bedroom. Oh, how my rock and roll life has changed! 🤔😂

Coffee Break sketch......Another year rolls round!

It's been a while since I've added to the blog. I've been off the grid due to one thing or the other but back today and it's the ol' Birthday! Sadly I'm working so it's just another day of the week, especially when you get to my year.

Working on another project, which I hope to have up on the blog in the coming months and I think everyone will like it.

On the house projects, I have eventually got the last room nearly decorated. A few mishaps along the way. The main one adding an indoors fountain after damaging a radiator pipe BUT it us all fixed and the flooring is now completed apart for some beading around the edges and some small holes to be filled and repainted over.

So hopefully this is me back on the blog. It's a new month and the weather is still Baltic, I only hope this means it's gonna be a good summer.
